Tonkatsu by Ma Maison

Tonkatsu by Ma Maison

Ma Masion is a Japanese fusion style restaurant that specialises in Tonkatsu (is a Japanese food which consists of a breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet). The dish is often served with shredded cabbage, rice and soup. Located at level 2 of Mandarin Gallery, it is a must try place for all pork lover.

Lots of Tonkatsu to choose from the menu

Open concept Kitchen

Japanese Sake - Lots of variety

Japanese Salad Sauce (Light Brown liquid), Sesame seed grinder (Plastic container), Spicy (red pot) and sweet (blue pot) Tonkatsu sauce to choose from. I recommended to use the salad sauce for your cabbage. It really taste nice and abit sweet. Really appetizing. The Tonkatsu sauces which your are to dip your pork cutlet in are nice too, love them both.

Radish - Good for your diet

Green Tea

The pork cutlets that are served are crispy on the outside yet very juicy on the inside. The meat is tender and soft, not even oily at all.

For the set dish, there is free flow of cabbage and rice, I just gluttonly feast on the cabbage with the seame dressing that they provide on every table.

Verdict: 4 / 5

Price: $20++

Food taste great, service is slow on food delivery, but waiters are able to get attention if required from the customers. However, be prepared to wait for very long if you visit the shop during peak hour.
