Uncle Tetsu's Cheese Cake


Tetsu Ojisan, a famous brand producing the Japanese style souffle cheesecake has finally opened an outlet in Singapore!! Located at Ion Orchard, it is a must try cheesecake which will melt in your mouth. The freshly baked Japanese style cheesecake is made from only cheese & eggs from Hokkaido & Miyagi to create a soft and light cheesecake texture.

The queue is super long during peak hour, and I heard that only 2 cakes are allowed per person to purchase during peak hour in Taiwan


Verdict? The texture is smooth and very soft compare to the denser typical cheesecake that we usually ate. It is a much dryer texture and do not have the taste of cheese or vanilla, more on the egg. But the cake simply melt in your mouth. I really like this kind of feeling. Not recommended to those cheese lovers.
The cake can be eaten at room temperature or keep in fridge for cooler feeling. Both ways will give you different feelings when eating this cheesecake.

 As their cakes hardly contain preservatives, it can only be stored for a few days.
